Our Partners
Armstrong Fluid Technology
Armstrong Fluid Technology is known around the world as a leader and innovator in the design, engineering and manufacturing of intelligent fluid-flow equipment. They provide the most energy efficient and cost effective solutions for residential, commercial and industrial applications around the world. Since 2016, Armstrong Fluid Technology has supported WaterAid through an employee engagement program which has raised $10,000 from their offices around the world.
Aveda
Aveda is a global hair and skin-care company with the goal of providing beauty industry professionals and consumers with high performance, botanically-based products with minimal impact on the environment. Aveda Canada and Collega International have supported WaterAid for over ten years and raised over $4 million as part of their annual Earth Month campaign.
Cupanion
For every reusable bottle or cup sold by Cupanion, the Canadian-based company pledges to donate to WaterAid two cents in support of our charity’s programs through their Fill it Forward initiative. Cupanion has surpassed their goal to donate 2,000,000 symbolic cups of water (equivalent to $20,000) and is now on their way to reaching the next milestone.
Easton’s Group of Hotels
The Easton’s Group’s flagship hotel properties include the industry’s most renowned brands in increasingly diverse locations – from cosmopolitan downtown Toronto to Sudbury, Montreal and Peterborough. With a dynamic leadership team and an abiding passion for excellence, Easton’s Group is expanding to new locations with diverse new offerings for the business and leisure traveler alike. Easton’s Group has generously donated over $18,000 through employee-led fundraising initiatives since July 2014.
Golder Associates
Golder Associates is a global, employee-owned organisation providing independent consulting, design and construction services in our specialist areas of earth, environment and energy. Golder Associates has been supporting various WaterAid Canada projects and fundraising events since 2003.
H&M Foundation
The H&M Foundation is a non-profit, global foundation, privately funded by the Stefan Persson family, founders and main owners of H&M.
In 2014 The H&M Foundation donated 60 million SEK to a three-year programme to bring safe water, toilets and hygiene to more than 250,000 of the world’s poorest students. The programme also engaged a wide range of partners and helped influence and update national education policies, as well as influencing the global Sustainable Development Goals.
Now in the second phase of our global partnership, the H&M Foundation is donating another 60 million SEK for the next-three year phase 2017-2020. This phase is a continuation of the work we have been doing over the last three years but with a broader scope where we are enabling sustainable access to water and sanitation services to people in communities, in homes, at health care facilities and in schools in four target countries; Cambodia, Ethiopia, Pakistan and Uganda.
HSBC
Together with WaterAid, WWF and Earthwatch, HSBC has recently completed a five-year $100 million Water Program that delivered a powerful combination of water provision, protection and education, resulting in the most ground-breaking water program committed to by a financial organization. HSBC’s support assisted WaterAid to reach communities in six countries in Africa and Asia.
Merit
Merit is WaterAid Canada’s official travel partner for the Bucket List Adventure Series and all of our travel needs. Merit is the largest independent specialty travel company in Canada and serves more than 350,000 travellers every year. Since 2016, Merit has supported WaterAid through various employee and cause related marketing campaigns which has raised over $90,000 from their offices across Canada.
Robinson Consultants
Robinson Consultants Inc., a multi-disciplinary consulting engineering firm, has supported WaterAid for more than 10 years. The firm has donated over $33,000 in support of our work.
Third Eye Gemstones
Third Eye Gemstones is a philanthropic lifestyle brand, providing instruments of protection, motivation, and manifestation. Each bracelet is hand crafted in Canada and serves as a reminder to the wearer to set your intention. Third Eye Gemstones’ intention is to help fight the global water crisis – they donate a minimum of 30 days of clean drinking water for every item purchased.
